You Should Check Out is a podcast run by co-hosts Katherine Ramachandran and Jason Houle. The show is a series of deep-dives into niche—and sometimes misunderstood—pop culture and anthropological phenomena. For this commission, I had to create a branding package, as well as several pieces of promotional artwork.
The art and branding for the podcast had to reflect the show’s quirky content as well as the co-hosts' modern tastes. Below are a few variations on the podcast's cover art, which can be used as standalone content, or as display pictures on social media platforms.
Adding a face to the name allows listeners to engage more with their favourite podcasts. For this reason, I created digital illustrations of Kat and Jason to use on promotional materials.
